Fail that test and you get 1 chance to take that 6-8 weeks of material again during the summer with 1 chance to retest. You don't take multiple classes each semester all tested and graded seperately and with the opportunity to double down to make up for a low grade and still pass the class, you take a test every 6-8 weeks on all the material you learned to that point. It was an order of magnitude harder than undergrad and two orders harder than graduate school (unless you were a hard biochem major, then it was on par).Īnd the pressure is so much greater.
